The Ottawan

HELLO OTTAWA

Here's some information to shock you awake after the weekend: Million-dollar-plus 'luxury' home sales booming in Ottawa. 1,766 homes sold for over $1 million in 2021, more than double 2020.

And it's not just $1 million homes going crazy, it's homes in the towns around Ottawa: Carleton Place is the fastest-growing town in Canada says StatsCan. Arnprior is also also going crazy.

We have nothing more to add to this – but it's probably more effective than your third cup of coffee.

We'll see you tomorrow– Martha and Darren
