    📱 911 😭 😭 😭

    •  People should be able to text or video 911 by next year. The Ottawa Police run the 911 system for Ottawa under contract and will be updating their 30 year-old system, allowing not just texts but the ability for dispatchers to transfer calls to other cities (Although the system does currently interconnect with Gatineau). 💰 Gatineau Mansion

    •  You can own the Gatineau mansion that was built too close to the street for only $3.5 million. The City gave permission to build the five bedroom manor with rooftop spa and terrace in 2013, then ordered it demolished in 2014 for being too close to the street. A judge later quashed that decision, stating that the City was trying to cover up its own mistake, which the City then appealed in an attempt to cover up its mistake. The appeal court allowed the house to stand. (Trevor Pritchard at CBC) (Listing)
