The Poll

Yesterday, we asked ‘What do you think THE OTTAWAN does with the poll data it collects?

35% Selflessly use it to improve the newsletter for readers

1% Nefariously use it to profit for ourselves

49% Publish it once then never think of it ever again

15% If THE OTTAWAN wants to sell ads it needs to know something about its readers

Our effusive friends at NarCity Ottawa’s new story, ‘7 beautiful small towns near Ottawa that will transport you to the heart of Europe’, inspired today’s poll.

We welcome any comments ‘hello@theottawan.com’

    BUT, ONE MORE THING ...

If you are interested in trying out the Ottawa running routes of former New Edinburgh resident Justin Trudeau, La Presse has the map. They have the map because one of officers who provided protection during Trudeau’s runs kept his personal exercise data on the Strava app, and made it publically accessible.

The Daily Mail notes that Trudeau has rented an apartment in Ottawa, where he plans to stay until his kids, aged 11 and 16, finish school
