WHAT OTTAWA IS TALKING ABOUT ▪️Mayfair Theatre owner shocked to find that its building is up for sale. The listing says that the Theatre is paying undermarket rent and that the space could be subdivided into shops, stating ‘This space can be converted easily to other shops and will definitely bring greater return once fully occupied’. The building was given heritage status by the City in 2008 which would not permit any alterations without permission.The asking price is $2,999,900. The landfill run by Waste Management has Provincial permission to accept garbage from across Ontario but has made an agreement to limit transfers to Eastern Ontario, from Sudbury to Durham.
