COVID-19 NEWS

⭕ Ontario says that the public will need to download their COVID 19 vaccine proofs from the Ministry of Health website if they want to enter non-essential businesses after September 22. The print out will need to be accompanied by government ID. The Province won't have their app available until late October. [CTV] [Proof of Vaccination Link]

⭕ The Quebec Vaccine Passport grace period ended yesterday. As of today, all non-essential businesses in Gatineau must check for a VaxiCode app or a printed proof of adequate vaccination or refuse entry. [CBC]

⭕ The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has voted against mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for students. The Board has previously voted to make staff vaccinations mandatory. [Ottawa Citizen]
