| – Professor of sociology at the University of Guelph, Andy Hathaway, on the voluntary closure of the 30-store magic mushroom chain, FunGuyz. If you are one of our readers who buys magic mushrooms – which, to be absolutely clear is completely illegal – from one of the three FunGuys shops on Rideau, Bank, or Dalhousie, you’ll have to settle for buying online. Of the number of shops, Hathaway says it ‘seems like a lot to me’. If the owners ever go to court, we think naming a magic mushroom chain FunGuyz is a mitigating factor that should be considered favourably by the judge. | | Aastha Shetty at CBC |
