| | BUT, ONE MORE THING … | Dave Allston of the Kitchissippi Museum has the story of Byron Linear Park, which runs 2.5 km through Westboro and is at most 66 feet wide. It exists because it was part of the Ottawa Electric Railway’s old streetcar route to Britannia Beach. When the tracks were pulled up, the City didn’t really know what to do with the right of way, eventually settling on a long, narrow park. | | DAILY QUALITY CONTROL | What did you think of today’s OTTAWAN? | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great ⭐⭐⭐ Satisfactory ⭐ Needs Improvement |
