WHAT OTTAWA IS TALKING ABOUT

▪️If you have organic debris from the storm, the special rubbish crews will end June 24. To be honest, we didn't see this announced but the City has been making multiple passes to remove branches and tree trunks from curbside. The City notes that you can cut up downed trees and put it in the regular green bins. [City of Ottawa]

▪️Ottawa Police refuse to comment about arresting two Sihk men on Parliament Hill in response to the weekend bomb hoax. The two men were participating in an event to commemorate the 1984 Sikh massacre in India when they were arrested, being told that the officers had ‘credible information’ that they were connected to a bomb threat. The men were released with apologies. [CBC]
