Weekend Plans Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival runs from today until Monday September 6. In addition to daytime and evening balloon rides, visitors can enjoy carnival rides, concerts by Quebec artists, and fireworks. There are a few things to be aware of before you set off: Tickets are only available online as there is no box office on site. Most important: Quebec residents must present a vaccination passport to gain entry to the festival, while visitors from other provinces must show proof of their second vaccination. Refunds are possible for visitors without the proof of vaccination.
