💰 Canada Revenue Agency versus the Union

    • The Canada Revenue Agency has lodged a complaint against the Public Service Alliance of Canada with the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board. The Agency accuses the Alliance of not making a real effort to negotiate a new contract, asking the Board to them back to the negotiating table before a strike can be authorized. Canada Revenue Agency workers have been without a contract for a year. The Alliance’s main sticking point is working from home – the Alliance wants to keep it, the Federal government wants civil servants to work two or three days per week from the office.
