WHAT OTTAWA IS TALKING ABOUT |
🚧 No Parking - A partial demolition of the collapsed parkade on Slater street was made by crews today. A decision on what else to do: demolish the whole thing or attempt to repair it has not yet been decided. Around fifty cars are still in limbo.

💥 Eastway Tank, Pump and Meter Explosion - A partial ‘information to obtain’ document used by Ottawa Police to gain a search warrant over the Eastway Tank, Pump and Meter explosion has been released. Alleged negligence includes using parts that were not cleaned of flammable liquids, minimal training of staff, and employees judging if fuel tanks were empty by smell. Nothing has been proven in a court of law.
The 2022 explosion killed six employees.
