HELLO OTTAWA

It’s a daytime winter weather parking ban tomorrow in Ottawa. Keep your car off the streets between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm or face a tow and ticket.

The City has a list of (paid) parking and (free) community centre lots if you need somewhere to move your vehicle.

In Gatineau, today is the first day of keeping your car off the street between midnight and 6:00 am in Gatineau for snow ploughing until the end of March.

That's Sunday to Friday. On the weekend, cars must be off the street from 3:00 am to 6:00 am.  But wait: you can buy your way out of it. A winter parking permit is sold by the City for $97.75.

The Russian law she was convicted under, in abstensia, was criticizing the armed forces, something that does not have a Canadian equivalent. Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Marc Miller says Kartasheva has been invited to become a Canadian.
