HELLO OTTAWA

Fun fundraising this week

▪️ The Low Waste Project has collaborated with Plantables and One Tree Planted to create PlantAid, a cool fundraising initiative that will give your garden a boost. This is your chance to purchase herb plants like Basil, Parsley, Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme and Lavender for $5 each. Pick up is in Orléans. One native Ontario tree will be planted for every $1 raised by the sale.

▪️ Top Shelf Distillers is participating the Cat Food & Supplies Drive for the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS), a no-kill shelter that re-homes hundreds of cats each year (and a few dogs too). If you live near or in Perth, on May 15-16 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm you can drop off items at Top Shelf Distillers, 14 Warren Street. The shelter, which is also located in Perth, is hoping to collect canned Friskies Pate and Kitten Food, powdered kitten milk replacement KMR, Greenies Pill Pockets--Feline, liquid laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and gift certificates from Staples, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Home Hardware, TSC, and Walmart

We'll see you tomorrow – Martha and Darren
