#WHAT OTTAWA IS TALKING ABOUT ▪️ The Ottawa – Carleton District School Board has provisionally voted to remove police officers from schools. A report commissioned by the Board found that some students and families found that they were intimidated by police assigned to the School Resource Officer Programme. The Board also voted to apologize to those that have been harmed and to ask the City to re-allocate the money to a mobile youth crisis team. The Board will make a final decision June 22.
