▪️  Holiday Inn Ottawa East requires an experienced, bilingual Food and Beverage Manager for Myra’s Bar and Kitchen, as well as its banquet services.

▪️ The Director of Food and Beverage at the Fairmont Château Laurierwill plan and direct the hotel’s Food and Beverage operations. The position requires high visibility with strong floor presence.

▪️ Craft Beer Market has an opening for Night Manager for the Lansdowne Park location. This is a position for an outgoing guest experience specialist, who shows a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

▪️ East Side Mario’s has an opening for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with experience in a high-volume casual dining restaurant.

⭕ Two-thirds of Canadians are not ready to lift COVID-19 restrictions. [CTV]

⭕ Gatineau is scheduled to go into the 'green zone' Monday. That means indoor gatherings of three households including restaurants. Masks may also be removed if everyone is fully vaccinated. [Le Droit]

#WHAT OTTAWA IS TALKING ABOUT

▪️ An accused Ottawa Redblacks player is not the man arrested over a homophobic attack in Toronto. The Redblacks suspended the player after social media accounts identified him as possibly the person who violently assualted a man earlier this month. The player's lawyer says the player had no involvement other than as a witness. He remains suspended by the RedBlacks. [CTV]

▪️ Another person has drowned after jumping from the Prince of Wales bridge. A 26 year-old man drowned over the weekend after slipping through the fence and jumping from the bridge. A 14 year-old drowned last year. The derelict train bridge is owned by the City and is intended to be converted to a walking/cycling bridge. [Ottawa Citizen]
