The Ottawan



The City is offering emergency assistance financial aid for food, and if you can convince the bureaucrats, medicine, due to the storm. Click here for the online application or call 311.  

Many of the City's recovery centres are still open if you are in need of  water, a shower, a phone charging, or someplace else. These centres are open today until 10 pm.

Nine organic waste bins have been set up around the City where you can dump spoiled food.

▪️Spark beer has launched Voices Carry: Rockaberry, a sour with hints of blackcurrant, blackberry, and concord grape. Enjoy it in the taproom, on the patio, or at home.

▪️Trucker siege co-organizer Tamara Lich is free to wander around Ottawa while she awaits trial. Lich won most of her requests at a bail review: she is free to visit Ottawa nor will receiving an award for her siege actions be considered a breach of her release conditions.
