We’ll be honest: Miller’s Crossing - located in Carleton Place - caught our eye because it shares its moniker with the Coen Brothers 1990 noir classic of the same name. These family homes, bungalows, and semi-bungalows offer “Big-city convenience with a rural advantage” and claim savings on similarly sized homes in Ottawa.

Marché St. Charles Market is a six storey boutique condo development in the heart of Beechwood village, constructed around the deconsecrated St. Charles Church (now a designated Ontario Heritage Building). That building now serves as weekly farmers’ market, community event space, and private events such as weddings. Amenities include a recreation floor with yoga studio, gym, sauna, and kids’ play area; puzzle parking utilizing scissor lifts; and an outdoor dining lounge. The homes are almost completely sold out, with one apartment and one pent house remaining.
