the ottawan is three years old as of last Saturday.
For those of you who have hung in there since the beginning, thank you for your tolerance. For those of you who joined just yesterday, we apologize in advance.
Hallmark says that the traditional third anniversary gift is leather, the modern gift is crystal or glass.
We’ll add a third: tell a friend about us. Click that green button below and let someone know about the ottawan and why they should join us.
It’ll be a lot more meaningful than leather or glass, and somewhat less expensive.

We Stand With the Trees is that most essential of Ottawa books: a photographic document of 50 individual trees, most on the Experimental Farm and Queen Juliana Park campus, most over 100 years old, and most slated for removal. ‘Each tree photograph is captioned with a serial number, followed by its generic name, scientific name, and expected outcome, which for most, is the designation To Be Cut.’
We will see you tomorrow – Martha and Darren
