In our second wall calendar note in as many days, tickets are now on sale for the Firefighter Calendar “Hot in Here” party at the Bronson Centre Music Theatre on Friday October 18. Your $50 ticket will get you into the party as well as your own copy of the 2025 Ottawa Fire calendar, featuring NICU babies and the firefighters who rescued them during the October 27, 2023 fire at Ottawa Hospital. Proceeds from the event, which is hosted by Hot 89.9’s Brady Jones and features music by DJ Wilkshake, will go to the Ottawa First Responders Foundation and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Ottawa Hospital. We hear that the firefighters themselves will be at the party. Ticket link is here. If you can’t make it to the party (again, we hear that the firefighters will be there ...) you can just purchase a calendar. Spend a glamorous evening at the National Arts Centre for Cornerstone’s Purple Tie Gala, back for its sixth year. You’ll enjoy top tier food from the NAC’s Executive Chef Kenton Leier, live music, a thrilling auction, and more.
