- 🆓 OC Transpo buses, O train, and Para Transpo are free all day
- 🆓 The Royal Canadian Air Force Pipes and Drums and highland dancers will perform on Parliament Hill from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- 🆓 Canadian Forces Snowbirds and other aircraft will fly over Ottawa at 1:00 pm for approximately 20 minutes.
- 🆓 If you love festivities, fairs, and fireworks but can’t make it downtown, stick to one of the many neighbourhoods that are putting on their own Canada Day events.
🆓 In Gatineau, kids will enjoy playing at the huge inflatable structures and dance to music from Basic Bulat and Québec legends Dubmatique at Canada Day in Old Hull, starting at noon. Rue Lavale, 35 Laval, Gatineau. 🆓 At LeBreton Flats, celebrations get underway at noon with an opening ceremony. In the evening event from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm features DJs, live artists and of course, fireworks to round out the day. 🆓: NAC Orchestra’s Canada Day Concert performs Canadian music from the last 100 years. Hosted by slam poet and songwriter YAO.
