Something more for the weekend
▪️Collectors of all things comics, Manga, board games, action figures, DVDs, and Pokémon should visit the Ottawa Geek Garage Sale tomorrow, Saturday September 11th, at the parking lot of Seoul Dog (154 O’Connor St). The event, which runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm, will feature vendors from Ottawa, Montréal, and Kingston. Eats will be provided by Seoul Dog.
▪️Hit the open road and head to the 166th Renfrew Fair, located at 115 Veterans Memorial Blvd in Renfrew, Ontario. The fair, which opened yesterday, runs right through until Sunday September 12th with a lineup that covers all the country fair bases: there are Light, Heavy, and Miniature Horse shows, Beef and Steer shows, a midway and beer garden, an exhibit hall, and live music for the whole family to enjoy. Admission is $5 at the door; there are no advance tickets.
▪️On Saturday September 11th the Urban Botonist presents a pop up at 877 Boyd Avenue, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Take your wallet and stock up on bunches of Eucalyptus, carnivorous plants like Butterworts, useful moss poles, pressed flowers in resin, art, and fun Urban Botonist stuff like lapel pins and terrariums. Free parking.
▪️Vintage Pop-Up 613 returns to Vimy Brewing this Sunday September 12th with over 20 vendors selling vintage home decor, toys and games, and collectables. Please bring your own bags. Music will be provided by @blackphoxx and of course Vimy will provide the beer. 10:00am to 4:00pm at 1-145 Loretta Avenue North, Ottawa.
