Today Let the moon guide you as you Snowshoe Under the Stars in Gatineau Park on Friday nights until March 29. These evening excursions are guided by experienced nature interpreters from Friends of Gatineau Park, and no snowshoeing experience is necessary. $20 for Members, $25 for non-members. It’s Opening Night of Backra Bluid, the new photography exhibition at SPAO by Stacey Tyrell. In her series of self-portraits, Tyrell transforms herself into her imagined white relatives. Sunday The National Ballet of Ukraine graces the stage at the NAC’s Southam Hall for two performances only, today at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The 23 dancers will perform excerpts from Don Quixote, Giselle, and Le Corsaire, as well as traditional Ukrainian pieces. Get ready for the excitement of the 2023-24 Ontario Women’s Provincial Pinball Championship at House of TARG this Sunday. The $10 cover includes unlimited play on Classic Video Games. Korean Cultural Centre Canada is offering tickets to free digital screenings of Park Jae-beom’s Mother Land (2022), a stop-motion fantasy adventure about a pair of siblings’ journey to save their mother. The film can be viewed from January 24 to January 30. You’ll swoon at Thirteen Strings’ first concert of 2024. Romantic Strings!(February 16) will take you on a tour through Edward Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro for Strings, Op 47 and Giuseppe Verdi’s Symphony for Strings, among others. Creative kids will love the Ottawa Art Gallery March Break Art Camp, running Monday, March 11th to Friday, March 15th, 2024. They’ll engage with the current exhibitions, take workshops, and meet the Indigenous artist, Mairi Brascoupé.
