▪️Not only does the 2024 Ottawa International Animation Festivallaunch today but The Animation Conference (TAC) also gets underway at its new venue the National Arts Centre. Highlights of the former include The Land Wants You Back (I thought you looked familiar), a multi-genre exhibition at Arts Court; screenings at the ByTowne Cinema and Ottawa Art Gallery; and the Opening Night party at Lowertown Brewery. As for TAC, there’s a full day of programming for animation professionals from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, including pitching and networking opportunities.
