▪️College ward councillor. Rick Chiarelli says ‘creepy’ messages sent from his Twitter account was the result of a hack. Several women collected screenshots of the messages, in which the sender – amongst other things – hamhandedly offered to take them on trips at the City's expense. [CBC]
▪️More than two years after the fatal Westboro bus crash, the City is making changes at the station. Changes include redeploying signs, new striping, and better drainage. Three people were killed and dozens injured when an OC Transpo double decker crashed into the station January 2019. The driver of the bus was charged with dangerous driving and will receive the verdict September 22. [CTV]
