▪️Two of mom and pop business Shopify's children have launched a new Ottawa startup. Not literal children but don't let anyone say we don't commit to a bit. The two former employees have launched Gadget, which allows app developers to create their e-commerce projects in hours rather than weeks. They have received $8.5 million investments from US venture funds. Gadget plans to move into new Chinatown offices in the new year. [Ottawa Business Journal]
