COVID-19 NEWS

⭕ As of 12 am this morning, the US border has reopened to fully-vaccinated Canadians, who may cross for any valid reason, including tourism. US border staff may require vaccination proof. Coming home is a different story – everyone needs to show a a molecular test taken within 72 hours of return travel. Also starting today, all air travellers must show proof of full vaccination. [CBC]

⭕ Fifty-three staff members of the Ottawa–Carleton School Board have been put on leave for refusing to vaccinate against COVID-19. The board employs 11,923 people. [Ottawa Citizen]
