COVID-19 NEWS

⭕ The Quebec vaccine passport system will be implemented within the next few weeks, says Premier François Legault. [CBC]

⭕ The City is reminding students that August 20 is the last day one can get a second dose to be considered fully vaccinated by Labour Day weekend and the start of university. Some post secondaries require vaccinations of students in class, in residence, or to play athletics. [City of Ottawa]

⭕ New Edinburgh resident Prime Minister Trudeau has asked the Privy Council to look into making vaccinations mandatory for Federal workers. He also says that the government is looking into making vaccines mandatory in Federally regulated industries like airlines, banking, and rail. [CBC]
