⭕ Gatineau will have a mask mandate at least until the end of April as Quebéc extends the rule today. [CBC]
⭕ Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization says that everyone 80 years and older should get a fourth COVID-19 shot as soon as possible. [CBC]
⭕ The Federal Government will decide this week whether the term ‘fully vaccinated’ should include the booster shot or not. Or, it could decide that vaccinations are no longer a requirement to work in the civil service. The current rule says Federal workers must have two COVID-19 shots or be put on unpaid leave. ⭕ Jabapalooza hero Dr. Nili Kaplan-Myrth has come down with COVID-19 herself. She cancelled last weekend’s mass COVID-19 vaccination session due to the illness. Kaplan-Myrth’s Jabapalooza sessions have innoculated thousands of people. [Ottawa Citizen]
⭕ Carleton University hit an all-time high of COVID-19 cases on campus (270) yesterday. Today, the University has suspended reporting the number of cases on campus. [Dan Sawyer]
