COVID-19 NEWS

β• Vaccinated people who have COVID-19 symptoms need only self-isolate for five days, instead of ten. That is, of course, assuming symptoms improve – if they continue or worsen, it's still ten days. Unvaccinated people must self-isolate the full 10 days still, as do health care workers. (Health care workers can cut it to seven with negative tests) [CBC]

β• Gatineau is locking up again. Quebec has banned indoor dining, limited household gatherings to one bubble, and instituted a curfew between 10 pm and 5 am. Non-essential retail businesses are also to be closed Sundays. [CBC]

β• Two more OC Transpo drivers have tested positive for COVID-19. [Ottawa Citizen]
