COVID-19 NEWS

⭕ Child care and transportation are two of the biggest issues preventing unvaccinated people getting their jabs, says Dr Vera Etches.  She reminds businesses and organizations that they can request a mobile vaccination visit. [CBC]

⭕ Oxygen bars are the only business Ontario has not allowed to reopen. Everything about oxygen bars is difficult for COVID-19 prevents – the tubes up the nose, the unmasked faces, the deep breathes breathing out. [CBC]

⭕ The Federal Government is extending the Canada Recovery Benefit, the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit and the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit, the wage subsidy and the commerical rent subsidy for another thirty days. The COVID-19 money was set to end September 25, it is now scheduled for October 23. [Global]
