COVID-19 NEWS
⭕ The National Advisory Committee on Immunization says that immunocompromised children aged 5 to 11 be given a third booster shot. [CBC]
⭕ SEIU Healthcare and CUPE's Ontario Council of Hospital Unions want the Province to stop allowing workers with COVID-19 to work in hospitals. The current policy allows workers near the end of their incubation period to work with patients who are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. [CBC]
⭕ We mentioned the other day the New Edinburgh resident Prime Minister Trudeau was self-isolationg because he came in contact with a civil servant who had tested positive for COVID-19. It was actually one of his kids who had tested positive, not a civil servant. It's not reported how the kid is doing but the PM is fine. [CityNews]
