COVID-19 NEWS

β• The maker of the safetodo.ca website has called it quits due to anti-vaxxers. The website promoted shops in Ottawa (and a few other Ontario cities) that encouraged staff members to be vaccinated, expecting it to support local business. β• Does your doctor or dentist need to inform you if they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or not? Nope. [CBC]

β• Amazon has cancelled Prime Day, due to COVID-19. The annual sales event usually results in some of its busiest days, and highest staffing, in its distribution centres. The company says it will, "focus on the health and safety of our employees, customers and selling partners." [CityNews]
