β Quebec has seen a surge of first vaccinations now that visiting the government liquor or cannabis stores will require proof of vaccination [CTV]
β COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are available to new groups today: Individuals aged 60 and older; teachers, education workers and childcare workers; healthcare workers; and pregnant women. Clinics are open at EY Centre, Minto Sports Complex, and Nepean Sportsplex. [City of Ottawa]
β Truckers crossing the border from the United States will need to show proof of vaccination as of Saturday. A trucking association believes this will force 16,000 drivers off the road, the Federal government does not believe it will result in any disruption. [CBC]
