  • The approximate number of structures that the City plans to remove from the heritage building list, in a scheme to save them. The Province has decreed that a property can only stay on a heritage list for two years before it is either designated a heritage property, or removed for at least five years. The City’s plan is to remove them all, then re-list them in batches to buy an extra two years.  (Joanne Laucius in the Ottawa Citizen)
