Get ready for another season of Byward Winter Market fun on Sundays, with sounds by Solé, hot chocolate, skating, and all the seasonal fun you could ask for. 

▪️ The Barn at Stittsville Market welcomes a mini pop-up with Sugar Tarts Bakery, Lachapelle Farm and Studio, Crochet Customs, Rosemary and Fleur and Rainbow Station. 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. 6154 Abbott St.  

▪️ Stay in Stittsville and visit the Goulbourn Museum for an Old-Fashioned Christmas, where you can make some crafts, roast marshmallows by the fire, listen to a holiday reading, and visit with Santa. Free, but donations are encouraged. 

▪️ Today’s European Union Film Festival screenings: The Invisible Fight (Estonia), Salgueiro Maia: The Implicated (Portugal). 

▪️ Road Trip: You’ll find more than 60 vendors at the outdoor Jack Frost Fair in Kemptville. Entry is by donation to the Salvation Army Food Bank. 

▪️ Road Trip: Visit pretty McDonald’s Corners for the Christmas Craft Show

▪️ Legendary jazz guitarist and composer Pat Metheny plays Alqongin Commons Theatre

▪️ As if you need another excuse to visit Broadhead Brewery: The Hoppy Holiday Makers Market is back, and Mavericks Donuts, Gatineau’s Brown Bag Coffee Roasters (BBCR), Meatings Barbecue, and many other food and Christmas gift vendors will be on hand. 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
