▪️Family of boy who drowned after jumping off Prince of Wales Bridge is suing City for $1.5 million. The 14 year-old climbed onto the bridge, jumped into the Ottawa River, and did not resurface. His body was found a few days later. The claim argues that the bridge was easily accessible, members of the public were often jumping off the bridge, and the City did not make enough of an effort to keep people off despite other deaths. ▪️The City wants your opinion on how to implement phase two of its strategy for women's equality. There will be seven virtural sessions in English and three in French, starting May 25 – all of which require prior registration.
